WARREN  COMMUNITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The first grade is a  time  of exciting growth and change  for your children.  I hope that you will enjoy your role as active participants in your child's education.

Our goal in first grade is to help each child to
gain skills they need to become independent
readers, writers, and  problem solvers. The
addition and subtraction facts, clocks, and money skills better enables each child to solve
some of those problems.  Also  necessary is
reading to understand and remember details.
